As we expand our project portfolio, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to support our growing team on complex mechanical installations involving building integration, site preparation, and compliance assessments.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to assist in the technical planning and implementation of HVAC and ductwork systems within commercial and industrial settings.
You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the structural and civil elements of our installations are delivered to specification, safely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing drawings, plans, technical specifications, and documentation for HVAC and ductwork installations

Conduct site surveys and collect data for system layout and structural requirements

Liaise with engineering and installation teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility

Monitor the progress of civil engineering aspects of projects and report any issues

Ensure compliance with UK building codes, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations

Support CAD drafting and assist in design amendments as required

Maintain detailed project records and assist in quality control checks
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role
Understanding of structural principles and building regulations
Experience with construction drawings, technical documentation, and site assessments
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
Desirable:
Experience working within HVAC or M&E sectors
Familiarity with BIM workflows and construction coordination processes
